Field Trip – Bishop Hendricken High School

Today marks the first day of the Center for STEM Education’s field trip series! The boys from Bishop Hendricken High School in Warwick, RI visited Northeastern’s campus and spent the day participating in STEM activities. This day was heavily focused on the engineering design process, which was incorporated into the paper rockets and egg drop activities the students completed. Also the NU volunteers, who helped make this day possible, supported the students during the activities and got to share more about their STEM majors during the lunch session. In all, students had a great time learning more about the engineering design process while getting to “put their engineering hats on” and use it themselves.
