Field Trip – Marie Philip School

Today, April 8th, juniors and seniors from the Marie Philip School at the Learning Center for the Deaf came for a field trip on engineering. The students learned about engineering and the design process, then designed and built catapults. After lunch, the students learned about rockets and how they work, then designed, built, and tested paper rockets. This was the first time our presenters worked with deaf students, so this was a helpful learning experience.
