Looking for Activities on a Saturday Morning? Join STEMout in JP

STEMout at JP Boston Public Library – Saturdays 10:30-12:00

STEMout, our affiliated NEU student volunteer organization, is hosting a weekly STEM program at Jamaica Plains’ Boston Public Library (30 South Street, JP 02130), every Saturday morning from 10:30am-12:00pm. The age range of the program is 8-12 (3rd grade to 6th grade). Students participate in hands-on demonstrations and activities to learn more about science, technology, engineering, and math topics. Some example activities include paper rockets (projectile motion, aerospace engineering), egg drop (forces and pressure), and cell building (learning about cell structure by building using pipe cleaners and paper plates)!

No sign-up is needed and if you miss a session, no problem. Just show up Saturday morning and take part! Hopefully see y’all there!
