GE Girls @ Northeastern

GE Girls was sponsored by General Electric and was a one-week academic day program designed to encourage girls to explore the world of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), and STEM-based careers.

Each day, students participated in hands-on activities that included problem solving, study, research, writing and communication skills. The program took place on the Northeastern campus [360 Huntington Avenue in Boston, MA 02115] with multiple days dedicated to field excursions.

Activities were led by Northeastern graduate students and supported by undergraduate science and engineering students.
