BPS STEM Fair – Volunteer Portal
The Boston Public Schools (BPS) STEM Fair event will bring together over 200 Boston middle and high school students to engage in active learning and present a wide range of demonstrations and experiments – on topics including the environment, biology, health, chemistry, physics and mathematics – to an anticipated crowd of family members, friends, and Northeastern and its surrounding community members. Last year’s Fair was a resounding success with several winners moving on to other scientific competitions.
The Center for STEM Education is coordinating Northeastern’s role in this event and is in need of volunteers to assist with registration, logistics and otherwise assisting in this virtual event. Please be aware – you must be a Northeastern student to volunteer for this event! Unfortunately, we do not accept volunteers from outside of our university (due to university policy of working with minors).
We are looking for volunteers for the 2024 science fair! If interested (NEU students only), sign up here. If you have completed your undergraduate degree already, consider judging instead.
We thank you for considering volunteering for this worthwhile and fun event. If you have any questions email Nicolas Fuchs at [email protected].
