Expos & Fairs
The Center for STEM Education participates in a variety of STEM hands-on expos and fairs each year. These events involve shorter activities (typically 5-10 minutes) than our usual events (in which activities typically last 60-90 minutes). Sometimes we attend external events and sometimes we host events at Northeastern. See below for a list of expos we are involved in.
Events at Northeastern:
Engineering for Everyone Expo: the Friday during February BPS Vacation Week (National Engineer’s Week) we invite K-8 students and parents to come to campus for 2 hours of hands-on STEM learning activities.
External Events
BPS STEM Fair – Activity Expo [1st/2nd Saturday in March]: Taking place at Roxbury Community College, the Center for STEM Education organizes the activity expo as part of this Fair. We invite all sorts of STEM companies, organizations, and university student groups to showcase their STEM learning activities.
