Interested in Volunteering?
Northeastern University students volunteer their time to help us run our events. These wonderful people are eager to teach the K-12 students their own knowledge and experiences in STEM-related fields, whether it be during our field trips or our after-school programs. Please take a look at our calendar for upcoming events and opportunities for STEM outreach this semester.
If you are interested in volunteering through the Center for STEM Education, read through our volunteering guidelines. As per Northeastern University guidelines for working with minors, there are two required forms for volunteers to complete. You can either email scanned in forms to Mary Howley ([email protected]), or drop them off in our office at 009 Dana Research Center.
- Self-Disclosure Form (for Programs Involving Minors): this form is valid for one year only. Program Name: CfSE Volunteering
- 51A Mandatory Reporter Training: this form is valid for one year only (needs re-certification each year). It takes ~30 minutes to finish, less to re-certify
To sign up to volunteer, please complete this survey. For any clarifications or questions, please contact Nicolas Fuchs. Below you can find out who is currently involved with us and who has helped us in the past.
