NSF INCLUDES Alliance: Engineering PLUS (Partnerships Launching Underrepresented Students)
Engineering PLUS was an NSF grant (NSF #2119930)
[July 2021 – May 2025] focused on increasing the number of underrepresented minorities and women obtaining undergraduate and graduate engineering degrees.
As part of this grant, for four years (2022-2025), the Center for STEM Education ran the stEm PEER Academy: Practitioners Enhancing Engineering Regionally. Participants in this summer institute engaged in a 2+ year professional development and research experience to support the design and implementation of engineering-focused Implementation Projects at their home institutions.
