Ahmed Othman

Ahmed is an incoming first-year Biochemistry Major in the John Martinson Honors Program at Northeastern University. He was a student with the Young Scholar Program in 2024, where he worked in PROTECT Director Akram Alshawabkeh's Project 4 lab, "Portable and Self-Cleaning Advanced Electro-Oxidation Systems for Distributed and Point-of-Use Water Treatment". In addition, he was the YSP Coordinator for 2025 and will be the 2026 coordinator as well. In his free time, Ahmed enjoys volunteering with nonprofits, enjoying new food, playing tennis, and wrestling.
