The National GEM Consortium invests in America’s workforce by recruiting students looking to pursue Master’s and Doctoral degrees in applied science and engineering, and matches their specific skills to the specific technical needs of GEM employer partners.
Northeastern University is a GEM University partner and hosts a GEM GRAD Lab every year, which offers students exposure to the benefits of research and technology careers in a highly interactive one-day event.
GRAD Lab features various speakers and encourages students to consider graduate engineering or science education and to apply for the GEM fellowship and focuses on answering the questions, “Why Graduate School?”, “How to Prepare for Graduate School?”, “What is the GEM Fellowship?”, and “What are possible Real Life Research and Internship Experiences?”.
The 2025 GEM GRAD lab at Northeastern is on Saturday, October 25th, 2025.
