This summer we will be running our third year of this REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) site: Pathways for community college students to enrich their education and careers (REU-PATHWAYS). This 10 week summer research site will run from May 28 to August 1 and will involve research in various fields of engineering with College of Engineering faculty and graduate student mentors. Accepted students will receive a stipend of $6000 over the course of the summer and are provided with supporting hardware (laptops). The program, which will take place on Northeastern’s Boston Campus, will culminate in final research presentations and a poster session. Please note: this program is for community college students only – and specifically commuter or local students – as we will not be providing housing for students (and the REU will be taking place on campus). Read more about this program here and consider applying! Applications are open now and will close on March 1st, 2024.
