This summer we intend to run another REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) site, conditional upon final notification of NSF funding: REU-PATHWAYS. This 10 week summer research site will run from May 31st to August 4th and will involve research in various fields of engineering with College of Engineering faculty and graduate student mentors. Accepted students will receive a stipend of $6000 over the course of the summer and are provided with supporting hardware (laptops). The program, which will take place on Northeastern’s Boston Campus, will culminate in final research presentations and a poster session. This program is for commuter or local community college students only – as we will not be providing housing for students. Read more about this program here and consider applying! Applications are open now and will close on April 3, 2022, with notification of program status no later than mid-April.
