On December 15th, 20 fourth through sixth graders from the JP Homeschool Group came to Northeastern University for a field trip on engineering. The students built paper rockets with fins of their own design. The students had the opportunity to test the effectiveness of their rockets outside. The students then did an egg drop where they had a limited “budget” to purchase materials implemented to prevent an egg from cracking.
In the afternoon the students had the opportunity to take a tour of campus. When the students returned they participated in College 101 where they were able to ask a panel of Northeastern undergraduates questions about college life.
