  • MBTA Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority - Wikipedia
    What’s a better resource to learn about the MBTA than the MBTA’s website itself? Discover more about the different modes of transportation that Massachusetts offers and learn more about it’s routes, prices, schedules and other relevant news about the T. They also offer other resources discussing other topics involving the MBTA such as climate change or civil rights.
  • MBTA – The History of the T

    From the 1600’s to present day, transportation in Boston has definitely changed throughout the years. Learn more about how Boston is the birthplace of public transit in America and how it has improved over the years.

Web Resources for K-12 Students and Parents

In addition to the resource highlight above, which is tied directly to the Newsletter topic, we will also highlight two new web resources each week.

  • Chemical Engineering – Teaching Modules
    The University of Utah provides a list of experiments to conduct relating to chemical engineering. Activities include, but are not limited to, Bireactors, DNA Extraction, and Water Rockets. They offer the option to search their module database and provide the option to get involved in their outreach program.
  • STEMfinity – Free STEM Resources STEMfinity
    STEMfinity provides a list of free STEM resources that have been gathered and filtered through. All of the resources are organized in typical STEM categories but they also include categories like STEM Careers, STEM Competitions, and Women in STEM.
