Program Callbacks

Alumni (of all our programs) in Elementary/Middle School are invited to participate in 1 or 2 sessions each year hosted by the Center for STEM Education. During these sessions, alumni will re-connect with each other and past staff and Northeastern student groups and/or professors will run a variety of hands-on activities. The sessions are typically half-day events, lasting 4 hours. Previous events: Fall 2019, Fall 2018, Fall 2017, Fall 2016, Spring 2016, Fall 2015.

Alumni in High School are invited each semester to participate in:
NEPTUN’s (Northeastern Program for Teaching by Undergraduates) SPLASH, and event where, as the organization’s name implies, Northeastern undergraduate students teach high school students. There are a huge variety of classes being taught on all kinds of subjects, and you can sign up for those which interest you. Past courses include “Beyond the Stick Figure: A Practical Drawing Class for the Artistically Challenged” or “Fermi Calculations: Using Estimation to Solve Ridiculous Problems” or “Infectious Diseases — The Coming Plague.” Spring 2019 Course Catalog, Fall 2018 Course Catalog
